The physics curriculum for this entrance test consists of the following subjects -

“NEET 2026 Exam Pattern”

Physics section 'A' consists of 35 questions which have a total value of one hundred forty marks while section 'B' requires students to answer 10 questions and the total marks for section 'B' amount to forty marks. The physics paper includes forty-five questions which students must complete because the questions are worth one hundred eighty marks. The chemistry paper has an identical structure to the physics paper. 

Biology section 'A' contains 70 questions which students will answer to achieve a total score of 280 marks. Section 'B' of the Biology paper carries eighty marks where students have to answer twenty questions out of thirty. 

In NEET 2026, students see one point deduction from their scores for every answer they answer incorrectly. 

Students face no consequences for questions which they choose not to answer. A tie between two students with equal scores will be resolved through their Biology results which will be followed by Chemistry and Physics scores and their total number of incorrect answers. If you are seriously aiming to get into medical colleges through NEET this year, one thing you must prepare is your time-allocation strategy for each subject. Students who follow my study plan should spend 50 to 55 minutes on Biology study, then use 40 minutes for each Chemistry and Physics session, and finally reserve 20 minutes to review their answers. 

“NEET 2026 Registration Process”

NEET 2026 registration has started from “8th February, 2026” and your application process can be completed through the official portal - https://neet.nta.nic.in/ . General category students must pay an application fee of Rs. 1700 while OBC/EWS students need to pay approximately Rs. 1600. The SC/ST/PwD category charges a fee of Rs. 1000. The registration process for NEET 2026 requires users to complete all the steps which the below image shows. 

“NEET 2026 Marks vs Rank (Expected)”

A student's NEET rank directly determines which medical colleges through NEET they can get admission to. The top government colleges such as GMC Chandigarh and AIIMS will probably accept you for NEET 2026 medical admission if your expected NEET 2026 rank is between 1 and 15000 which requires a score of 600 or above. 

There are moderate admission chances to government colleges for students who maintain NEET 2026 ranks between 15000 and 75000 because their score ranges between 500 and 600.
